Sava Trifunovic

Chief Operating Officer

Sava has over 35 years of executive management experience in private and public companies, including VISY Industries. Sava has managed strategic projects in Finance, Manufacturing Operations with a strong technology focus that has delivered sustainable cost-saving benefits. Proven expertise in building seamless integration between onshore and offshore operations. He has been a member of the AICM for over 30 years and managed a $3.2B Credit and Risk portfolio. Sava’s experience onboard level and dealing with the top 4 banking, legal and finance firms provides our management team and stakeholders comfort, energy, mentoring, and laser focus to achieve our goals.

Tom Whitworth

Chief Product Officer

Tom joined Finstro in 2013 and lead the team to develop the original Finstro platform. As CPO he oversees all product development of Finstro, from research, design and technical implementation. Tom served in the Australian Infantry before joining Finstro and holds a BA in Economics with a major in Econometrics from the University of Sydney.

Marc Diffey

Chief Technology Officer

Marc has over 30 years of technology experience gained working and living on four continents. Having worked in every role in technology gaining that hands on view, which has assisted him in using that experience at executive level for organisations over the last decade, from small agile teams to 250+ global teams. Marc redefined the CIO role over the years to ensure technology is focused on adding business value. Marc is driven by reviewing opportunities to use technology to enable business to change at the speed we need today. Marc’s focus is to remove complexity from technology situations and evaluate possibilities and opportunities for our company to grow and be the best in the marketplace.

Jason Smith

Chief Risk Officer

Jason has over 26 years of experience in Financial Services in both Banking and Insurance.  He is a highly experienced Chief Risk Officer with over 15 years of senior executive experience in leading, transforming and optimising governance, risk and compliance functions. Jason’s experience includes over 10 years of working in Asia, Europe and America whilst navigating complex regulatory and business operational environments. Where Jason has been seen to uniquely added value is focusing risk and compliance functions to deliver exceptional customer outcomes and enhance Management’s brand with the board, investors and regulators. Jason has built a track record of transforming and optimising risk strategies, processes and cultures to deliver material performance improvements. Most recently, Jason stood-up and led an $80M risk management transformation program for the largest publicly listed General Insurer in the Australasia region.

Matt Ryon

General Counsel

Matt Ryon is the General Counsel of Finstro. Prior to that, he held the position of Senior Vice President and Senior Counsel for Associated Bank, N.A. in Chicago, IL (NYSE: ASB). Matt has been practising law since 2005 and holds an Economics degree from the University of Iowa, a JD from Northern Illinois University and an MBA from Marquette University.
